As Associate Producer for the iconic West End Theatre Royal Haymarket, she oversees the expansion and development of the production company, TRH Productions, specialising in identifying and working with new talent in all theatrical disciplines. This has included the recent world premiere of Fatal Attraction with Sir Trevor Nunn and the Oscar nominated original screenplay writer, James Dearden, starring Natascha McElhone (Californication), Mark Bazeley (The Bourne Ultimatum) & Kristin Davis (Sex & the City). Grassroots Shakespeare London is a multi Off West End Award nominated company that specialises in creating classic works for new audiences. Siobhán established the company in 2011 and delights in finding and nurturing top emerging talent while making Shakespeare fun and engaging.
In April 2014, Grassroots celebrated Shakespeare's 450th birthday as the only company performing the Bard's work in London's West End with their sold out production of Othello starring the BBC's James Alexandrou as Iago at Leicester Square Theatre, as well as reading sonnets with Damian Lewis at the London Guildhall.
Siobhan was identified as one of Britain's top future commercial producers by SOLT/ TMA, one of only six people selected to train with their prestigious scheme, Stage One, in 2013. She worked with Edward Snape (The Stage Top 100 Producers 2012) on the Olivier Awards winning productions Goodnight Mr Tom (tour and West End), The 39 Steps (tour and West End) and The Ladykillers (tour and West End).
Siobhán worked at the Royal Opera House in cross-House project management, overseeing collaborations with The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera on major projects. These included the BP Big Screens free live relays into Trafalgar Square and across the UK, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC)’s Opening Ceremony for London's 2012 Olympics, executive produced by Wayne McGregor and starring opera legends Plácido Domingo, Bryn Terfel and Renée Fleming.
Siobhán Daly is a Producer and Artistic Director. She is the Associate Producer for TRH Productions and the Executive Producer/ Artistic Director of the muti Off West End Award nominated Grassroots Shakespeare London. She established Siobhán Daly Productions in 2013 to produce commercial theatre.
She was a Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and Theatrical Management Association (TMA) Stage One Apprentice Producer, who studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), King’s College London and Goldsmiths College, University of London.
During the 2013-2014 season, Siobhán was a judge for the Olivier Awards, sitting on the Opera Panel.
She has a strong background in TV and Theatre and is passionate about making the arts accessible to all, particularly those traditionally seen as elitist and irrelevant.
Siobhán also has a strong background in TV. She worked at the BBC in departments including BBC Drama Production alongside BAFTA winning drama producer and director Pier Wilkie, Commissioning for BBC Daytime and for BBC Events on live outdoor broadcasts. These included Concert for Diana at Wembley starring Elton John, Live Earth at Wembley headlined by Madonna, the Children in Need appeal nights and major royal and state ceremonial events including HM The Queen’s Christmas Broadcast.
As part of her passion to engage young people in the arts, Siobhán was the Chair of the English National Opera Young Patron’s programme, spearheading its redevelopment and growth. She was supported in her role by Sir Peter Balzalgette while he was the Chair of the ENO.
Siobhán is advocate for arts funding, equality, accessibility, promoting young talent and encouraging philanthropy.
